Legacy Week is the annual national appeal to raise awareness and funds for the families of our incapacitated and deceased Veterans. The funds raised from Legacy Week help Legacy continue to assist approximately 90,000 widows and 1,900 children and people with disabilities Australia-wide, with essential services such as, counselling, special housing, medical, advocacy and social support.
This morning Axiom Projects hosted a morning tea in support of one of our clients - Sydney Legacy. It gave everyone a great excuse to get together and all for a great cause!
We were pleased to be joined by Legatee Malcolm Little – the Deputy Chairman of the Western Suburbs division and Legatee Stewart McAlister who shared their stories and the history of Sydney Legacy and how they are making a difference.
Along with morning tea we were proud to show our support by wearing our legacy badges. The purchase of these badges allows Sydney Legacy to continue their support to the thousands of families of our Veterans.
You can show your support this Legacy Week by purchasing badges and other merchandise from the thousands of volunteers that will be out and about during Legacy Week. To find out more about Sydney Legacy visit their website at http://www.legacy.com.au.
It is a great cause and Axiom Projects is proud to support Sydney Legacy.
